in paradise

Nolan and I spent Saturday morning with Joan at Paradise Café. Joan is just as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. Not only is she a wonderful person, but an amazing artist. She graciously guided us through her pastry-making process from 6:30 am 'til her devoted foodies started knocking on her little red door. (you might say I'm a little obsessed with the culinary arts, so when joan agreed to share her treasured recipes, I was thrilled!)
